Meet the Cobar family! Denis serves as their chaplain (pastor and biblical counselor). This includes preaching the Word to patients in the waiting area, praying for the patients that are either in pre-op or post-op, comforting their hearts and meeting them where they are at. His office doors are always open and patients come after their doctor appointments, where he has the opportunity to pray, listen and encourage them to follow Jesus. When he is not at the hospital he is working in the local church or teaching at El Camino Bilingual school. Mylene works in various administrative roles both at the hospital and El Camino School. She has been able to put her HR skills to great use by helping in the hospital’s cafeteria, cleaning staff, and assisting in other administrative tasks around the hospital. their son Dennis is a a student at El Camino school.
