Jeff and Rosanne Mckenney established the Cornerstone Foundation in 1992 and have been serving on the field at Hospital Loma de Luz since 2000. Jeff, is a surgeon who felt a clear call to medical missions as a young man, has studied missions for 40 years serving on many short and medium term mission trips around the world during his years of training, US Naval service, and early practice. He is President of the Cornerstone Foundation and of Asociación Piedra Angular de Honduras and Director of Loma de Luz.
Rosanne, the daughter of career missionaries to Italy, where she grew up. She is a registered nurse, educator, and artist. She is co-founder of the Cornerstone Foundation, the Founder and Director of Escuela Bilingue El Camino, and the Anesthetist for Hospital Loma de Luz.
The McKenneys’ vision for The Cornerstone Foundation is one of a diverse community of Christian believers cooperating to provide the poor & powerless with refuge, sustainable medical care, education, foster children care and an on-going hearing of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the living of our lives.
