honduras missionaries

Roger and Myla Bodary are both originally from Michigan and have been living and working overseas for 35 years. They started their married life together as missionaries to the Philippines and have lived and worked in 6 different countries: The Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Qatar, India, and now Honduras. Through the years they served the Lord in different capacities in each country. They came to Honduras in January 2021 with Cornerstone International, and have spent the first half of each year supporting Loma de Luz in various roles. Their newest role is as pastoral overseers to the Missionaries serving at LDL. Roger is a teacher by profession and while in Honduras, spends his afternoons teaching Technology at El Camino Bilingual School. Each morning, he is serving side by side with the hospital Chaplain praying with, and ministering to patients. He also supports the local church and pastor by periodically sharing the word in the Sunday service. He has a broad background of skills and has worked on some engineering design projects.  Myla is a RN by profession and has had many years of experience in nursing and in administration, and is now working in an Administrative role at Hospital Loma de Luz. Thanks to technology they both can work from afar when away from Honduras. Roger and Myla have four children who were born in the Philippines and grew up as global citizens, and are now adults living in the US. They have one treasured grandson.
