David and Jessica have felt the call to missions for a long time and God’s timing is finally right. They are thrilled to be using their skills for God’s greater glory in Honduras as full-time missionaries.
David will be serving as a missionary CRNA and providing much-needed anesthesia services at Loma de Luz Christian mission hospital. Jessica will be a third grade missionary teacher at El Camino Bilingual Christian School.
David and Jessica met at Oral Roberts University and served in the chaplain program. They got married in June, 2014. They have been volunteering as licensed pastors in the church of God at Alma Church of God as the Connect Group Directors, Care Pastors, Childrens’ Ministry teachers, Curriculum support, and liaisons for Hispanic churches. They have also been going through ministerial training and will be licensed pastors in the Church of God. Their strengths are in leadership, community building, networking, and evangelism.
The Hubbards have been homesteading in rural Southeast Georgia the past four years. They are excited to use their knowledge of permaculture, animal husbandry, and regenerative farming on the mission field. They have big dreams to help the Children’s Home become more self-sustainable by teaching the kids how to grow a vegetable garden, raise livestock for meat, learn how to milk, and more! They are super excited to use their homestead skills for God’s glory!
They have four young children that they have been farmschooling on their homestead in the country. Jubilee, Esther, Gabriel, and Maranatha are very excited to go try something new and attend bilingual school with all their friends in Honduras. Hubbard’s family vision statement is, “Raising Missionaries Here.” God is at work and is going to use this family to touch lives and build His Kingdom in Honduras through their surrender and obedience.
Children: Jubilee, Esther, Gabriel, and Maranatha Grace.
